In a case of mistaken identity, rapper Ice Cube’s tour bus was set ablaze by a group of Antifa protesters. According to reports, the protesters believed it was a deportation vehicle belonging to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and vandalised the vehicle by hurling objects at it before fire bombing it.Viral video sparks outrage
Footage of the incident, has since gone viral on social media. It shows protesters chanting as the bus was pelted and eventually engulfed in flames. The confusion reportedly occurred because of the large “ICE” lettering painted on the bus. At the time of the incident, Ice Cube was reportedly inside the venue and escaped unharmed.

Ice Cube Reacts

Reacting to the news, Ice Cube took to his handle to tweet, "Wasn’t my bus. It was a crew bus. Parked in front of the hotel. Everybody was upstairs sleeping. Nobody hurt. No equipment damaged."He went on to add, "A coward set fire to the bus. My bus was actually in Oakland getting serviced."

Authorities InvestigatingMeanwhile, reports state that Portland police have confirmed that they are investigating the attack and reviewing security footage to identify those responsible. Officials are also assessing the extent of the damage to the vehicle, which was left badly vandalised and partially burned.No arrests have been made so far.
