The film 'Idli Kadai', directed by actor Dhanush, released in theaters on October 1, is receiving a good response from the audience. Following the film's success, Dhanush along with his family visited his ancestral deity, Karuppasamy Temple. He arrived at the temple located in Shankarapuram village near Bodinayakkanur in Theni district yesterday morning.

Along with Dhanush, his brother and famous director Selvaraghavan, father Kasthuriraja, mother Vijayalakshmi, and sons Linga and Yatra also attended the special Darshan. Dhanush had earlier worshipped at the Kasthuri Amman temple near Andipatti with his family ahead of the film's release. The people there expressed some regret as he did not meet his fans. But yesterday at the Shankarapuram temple, he spent up to half an hour talking to the public.

'Idli Kadai' actor shares meal with villagers after temple visit

After the darshan at the temple, Dhanush and his family had a special lunch at the pandal along with all the villagers present. The event, which was held in an open space in the village, was well-attended by the public. People had the opportunity to take photos and selfies with the director-actor. It is special that Dhanush visited his ancestral temple and offered darshan, both before the film's release and now after its release and success.
