Dhanush's 'Idli Kadai' Holds Steady at Box Office, Nears ₹42 Crore in First Week

In Tamil Nadu, the morning shows saw 14.62% occupancy. The occupancy in the region gradually rose through the day as it pealed at 24.05% during the night shows. The Telugu version, meanwhile, recorded a modest 16% occupancy, with evening and night shows performing slightly better than morning ones.The opening day collections stood at Rs 11 crore which was followed by Rs 9.75 crore on day two. Collections gradually declined over the weekend, with Rs 6.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 6 crore on Sunday, before taking a sharp fall on Monday.Directed by Dhanush, 'Idli Kadai' features a magnificent cast including Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Sathyaraj, Shalini Pandey, and Rajkiran in pivotal roles.
