Josh Hartnett, the ‘Oppenheimer’ actor, joins the set to work after experiencing a tragic collision in Canada. The 47-year-old star was hospitalized for a brief period of time, as he incurred minor injuries following a car accident in Newfoundland.Hartnett, who was returning home, was a passenger in a lavish car when he collided with a patrol car belonging to the local police department, Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC), on September 25, according to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. As per the press release, the crash was around 1 a.m. in the city of St. John’s at the intersection of New Cove Road and Elizabeth Avenue, and has caused significant damage to both the involved vehicles. As a result, three people were immediately taken to the hospital for evaluation. Hartnett and the 59-year-old driver are believed to have sustained minor injuries, and the officer was sent to the medical checkups for precautionary purposes.
