NASA captures crash site of Japanese moon lander Resilience in detailed lunar photo

NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter has spotted the crash site of Japan's Resilience moon lander. The ispace lander aimed for a historic landing in Mare Frigoris. Communication was lost during descent. The image shows a dark smudge, indicating a high-speed impact. A microrover carrying art was also lost. This marks ispace's second failed lunar landing.
