Ranbir Kapoor visited a Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai with Ayan Mukerji. The visit was emotional, as it was their first Puja since the passing of Ayan’s father, veteran actor Deb Mukherjee, in March.

Remembering Deb Mukherjee

Speaking to Instant Bollywood, Ranbir said, “I have been coming here for years, since I have known Ayaan. Of course, we miss Debu uncle. He passed away and his presence is so much felt in this place."He further added, “So, it’s always great to take darshan of Durga Maa. And the power that you feel here, the auspiciousness that you feel here, it’s always very special."

Greeting fans and devotees

Dressed in a traditional attire, the actor was also seen greeting devotees and posing for the paparazzi at the event.Meanwhile, Deb Mukherjee passed away at the age of 83 in March this year. He worked in several Bollywood films including Aansoo Ban Gaye Phool, Abhinetri, Do Aankhen, Baaton Baaton Mein and Kaminey among others.

Upcoming projects

On the work front, Ranbir will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War. The film will also star Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt. Apart from this, he also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal Park in his pipeline. Kapoor will also star in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana where he will be seen essaying the role of Lord Ram. The film boasts of an ensemble star cast which includes Sai Pallavi, Yash, Ravi Dubey, Lara Dutta, Arun Govil, Sunny Deol and several others.
