Foods that are high in sugar content. Foods that are high in fat, especially things like milk, naturally even partial milks like the 2% milks, those tend to be triggers for acne. I've had patients tell me that even chocolate can trigger their acne. And then definitely very cheesy or other high content foods. What we know can help acne? We know that foods that are high in antioxidants can help. Foods that are rich in vitamin A. Potassium. Those things can help stabilize the oil glands so that you can have an even complexion without the acne breakouts.
