Common wedding myths that I've encountered: number one, everyone becomes a ‘zilla, which is not true. I think you become a ‘zilla if you allow yourself to become one because your friends or family get under your skin, but really if you are making it the wedding of you and your fiance's dreams, then you don't have to be a ‘zilla. You don't have to be mean. You don't have to become a crazy person while planning your wedding. You can have a joyful, happy, fun time planning your wedding if you let yourself. Or you can make it stressful and wild and crazy if you hire the wrong people, don't trust the people that you hire, and let everyone else's voices influence your decision. So really, the myth is that everyone becomes a ‘zilla, a groomzilla or a bridezilla, but in reality, no one has to be a ‘zilla if you don't choose to become one.
