The India vs. England first Test match at Headingley in July 2025 has smashed streaming records on JioHotstar, drawing a massive 89.1 million viewers. The game also accumulated an impressive 13.7 billion minutes of watch time. This match marked the beginning of India's five-match Test series under their new captain, Shubman Gill, and also represents the start of the WTC 2025-27 cycle for both competing teams.

The second Test of the series is set to commence on July 2 in Birmingham. With four matches still to go, the series is poised to potentially set even more new digital sports consumption records.

The ICC World Test Championship Final 2025, which pitted South Africa against Australia, also reached significant viewership heights.
