Using the Mobile App

It's the pushpin icon on your Home screen or in your app list.

Tap the search bar at the top of the screen, type the name or address of the location, and tap it in the search results. Alternatively, you can tap and hold a location on the map to drop a pin.

You'll see this blue button below the address.

Tap the Your location field at the top, then enter your starting point.
If your trip has multiple stops, tap the three-dots in the upper right corner of the screen, then tap Add stop to enter another address.

Do so by tapping one of the transportation icons at the top of the screen:

Driving: Car icon

Transit: Train icon

Walking: Hiker icon

Rides: Hailing passenger icon

Cycling: Cyclist icon

You may need to swipe right to see all of the available icons.

To see a list of the turn-by-turn directions, tap ^ in the lower-right corner of the screen, then tap ⋮≡.
