By now you’ve probably heard about capsule wardrobes and how they can be a total game-changer when it comes to your personal style, but what exactly is a capsule wardrobe, and how do you go about putting one together? Don’t worry—in this video, fashion stylist Ashley Kahn answers all of your questions about capsule wardrobes, including what they are and how you can start making your very own.
So a capsule wardrobe is awesome because it makes sure that when you walk into your wardrobe, everything easily mixes and matches together. You don't even have to think about it. Getting ready in the morning is easy. Some people decide to do smaller capsule wardrobes and keep a smaller amount of items. What I do for my clients is I make it broader, but it's still a capsule because I ensure every single piece goes with every single other piece. So if you're wanting a capsule wardrobe, you're gonna really want those staples, you're gonna really want those foundational pieces, and you want to get that built up and then, again, the whole thing with a capsule wardrobe is that when you buy a piece, you know it goes with everything else in your closet and it's a very efficient way to have your clothing.
